I notice that the comments don't display under the comic strips reliably anymore, heh heh... is there a change in how that's supposed to work? The site doesn't seem to register if comments are made.

Hm... Is it just when viewing the main page, or does it also happen in other cases?

Both...

Not only is it when viewing the main page, but it's also when browsing back. Though I think I've been able to see older comments occasionally.

Hm... It may be the additional Captcha stuff I installed. I'll try tweaking it a bit and see how it goes. Let me know if it gets better/worse/improves?

Now I can see the comments whenever browsing

But when I initially load the front page, the comments on the latest comic don't show. If I click Previous and then Next, they will appear.

Yeah, unfortunately that's a function of how the system works for now. I think. Did they used to show up on the front page? Perhaps I need to delve deeper into the guts of Drupal...

Yeah I think they did at one point.

Interestinly, I think the navigation is a little tougher on the front page due to the other items. If you could duplicate the Previous/Next links to go below the comic too (but above the comment stuff) that'd help a ton for me! (I do find it eventually but it takes a little bit)

I agree, and I want to

I agree, and I want to continue simplifying the look and feel of the site, improving the navigation, and using fewer contrib modules. The way the comic navigation works right now is that I sort of hacked together a couple of modules that normally don't play well together. When I tried to dupe the nav link at the bottom, I somehow broke the whole thing.

As I learn more about Drupal, PHP, and MySQL, I hope to be able to make even more improvements, but since Drupal 6 is getting so close, I'm not wild about the idea of hacking code I barely understand for days on end only to do it all again in a few weeks. I'll give it the old college try, though, especially if it looks like a site-breaker to you.

I tried to change the way

I tried to change the way comments display, and I failed. What you see on the front page is actually a list that I have restricted to one item. If you click on the comic date at the upper left of the comic itself, though, that will take you to the actual comic post, where you will see comments.

Sorry I couldn't do more on that. Maybe I'll have an epiphany later.

Believe me, it's OK!

These CMSes have a very steep learning curve. ANd you're better at customizing them than I am, that's for sure! I love the site.

Navigation improved BTW

Thanks for the bottom prev/next links! It helps a ton!
