Hey, everyfur! I've got a mission: get to San Diego and glomp Jhonen Vasquez. (Imagine the facial expression.) Thing is, I need money for transportation, food, and possibly some *ding!* convention commissions of my own.

So I'm doin' a Dutch auction of some awesome custom character illustrations, all fully rendered with digital color. Delivery will also be digital -- email, website upload, or the like, take your pick.

I draw girls or boys in lovely natural poses that reflect their personalities, based on description and / or examples, and you get one revision at the sketching stage; I'll be doing these at or just after con in the order of price (highest to lowest).

All of my commissions are based on the Attribution / No Commercial model of Creative Commons. If you want full rights -- put it on a mug, a shirt, whatever -- we can negotiate a plan, and there will be a surcharge.

Full Paypal payment will be required immediately, not because I want to cause grief, but because I need it for travel booking!

Sound good? Sign up.

Hehehe not sure how a Dutch Auction works

But I'll have to take a look. I would most certainly lose this auction though.

Dutch Auction - since I want

Dutch Auction - since I want to schedule 10 commissions from separate people rather than doing them as a mass project, I went for this type: In a Dutch auction, there's sort of slots to fill in depending on the number of items for sale, so up to that number of people can win. The price cascades downwards -- so you can fight your way to the top or you can let yourself slide to the bottom and get a lower price. You can also bid for more than one item, in which case I believe you're bidding the price per item, rather than for all.

Unfortunately I can't do it now!

Budget doesn't allow me to do commissions until Friday (upcoming). What are your normal commission rates?
