Sick of the ads? Well, we can do something about that. See, our roommate had to move out suddenly (as in we had about fifteen minute's notice) due to things I won't go into here. Just a case of bad things happening to good people--But it still kind of leaves us in the lurch. Waaaaaay in the lurch.
So... Anyone who donates fifteen bucks or more (button is at the top of this post, and on the main comic page) gets a year of no ads on the site.
If you're not already registered, create a (free) account, then use the donate button (you don't have to have a paypal account to use it) to send at least fifteen bucks, then email us the user name you chose (send from the same email address you donated from). I'll set you up and email back instructions for you to get the comic and the rest of the site with no ads, plus you'll be among the first to try out the new database-driven comic page. Sound good?
If you don't want to use paypal, you can also send your donation using the Amazon Honor System link at the bottom of this post.
Of course, if you're already registered you don't have to create a new account. In addition, if you've already kicked in, same deal--Just send me your user name (use the same account you used when you donated), and we'll get you set up.
So yeah--If you can kick in, that'd rock. If not, no worries. We still love you more than cheese! Once we take care of the basics, anything left over will go to trying to get out to a convention to actually meet some more of you in person.

Hmm... I don't have PayPal and I'm not big on funds at the moment, but I'm keeping this issue in the back of my mind. Not sure if I'll be able to donate the 15 bucks, but I'll do what I can. I'm sorry to hear about whoever it was who moved out, but I wish you much luck.

Yeah! And thanks, man. Didn't you get my email telling you that you were set up on the "no ads" thing? If you go to http://www.bluecrashkit.com/cheese and log in (hit the "remember me," box so you won't ahve to log in each time), when you log in the ads will go away. You can also switch to the other members only theme I have set up (bluemarine) by going to the edit link on your "my profile" page and scrolling down. The one theme you DON'T want to switch to is Garland, since that's the theme with the ads (and the only one most people can use.)
